“AI proposes. A person confirms.”

In a few words

I spent 18 years between advertising and digital design and more than five designing products, including projects for a digital products platform used by millions of creators: international pricing, a design system, retention experiences and events.

In almost every project, the real pain was outside the screen. It was the order that arrived as a photo and someone retyped. The case file of hundreds of pages read page by page. The payment checked against the bank statement. Manual work, repeated every day, by people who could be doing something else.

That is why I moved from product designer to product builder. Today I map the manual process, choose what is worth automating and build the AI workflow end to end. With one rule that doesn’t change: AI proposes, a person confirms.

Through Stay Digital, I work with companies in Portuguese and English, and I write about what each project teaches me.

01

How I automate

The method in my articles
  1. i.

    Map

I talk to the people doing the work by hand and follow the real process. Who does it, what comes in, what goes out, where it fails and what a failure costs.

  2. ii.

    Choose

Not everything is worth automating. I turn what I saw into opportunities and pick the first one: the one that repeats most and hurts most.

  3. iii.

    Validate

I build the working flow, often with the AI simulated, to test with the people who will use it before paying for real reads.

  4. iv.

    Automate

I ship in slices, with a person in control of what matters. The job is only done when the team stops doing it by hand.

Career

  1. 18 years

    Advertising and digital design

The foundation: brand, campaigns, art direction and plenty of websites. I learned to communicate before I learned to design products.

  2. 2016

    Leading web teams

My first projects leading a cross-functional team, with region-based personalization and a store locator.

  3. 2022–2024

Projects for a digital products platform

International pricing, a design system, personalized year-in-review experiences and events for millions of digital creators.

  4. 2023

    Volunteer teacher

Volunteer classes in branding, Photoshop and Illustrator at a social program that prepares young people for work.

  5. 2025 →

    Product builder

AI automation inside the operation: orders read from photos, bulk document reading, billing and proposals without spreadsheets. From manual process to working flow.

03

What I do

  1. 01

    Process diagnosis

A map of the manual work: who does it, how often it repeats, where it fails and what to automate first.

  2. 02

    AI automation

Reading orders, documents and files, with the original side by side and a person confirming.

  3. 03

    AI agents

Workflows with rules, cost visible before running and human review at the right point.

  4. 04

    Custom systems

When the process doesn’t fit an off-the-shelf tool: from the data model to the screen, in slices.

  5. 05

    UX/UI and design systems

Screens the team understands without training, and rules written where AI reads them too.

  6. 06

    Discovery and validation

Interviews with the people doing the work and testing the flow before paying for AI.
